Zeydon Milling was founded in 2004 as a subsidiary of Zeydon. Whereas the investment in a 5 axis CNC routing machine was vital for the high quality standard of its own top class production yachts, it also created an opportunity to offer milling services to other companies. Although our initial background is in the yachting industry, we also have expertise in other industries such as automotive industry, bus & commercial vehicles industry, woodworking and model making industry.

As one of the few companies in Belgium that offer full 5-axis milling services to third parties, we stand for quality and craftsmanship. The technology of our 5 Axis milling machine gives us the ability to do projects that only a handful of shops in the Benelux can handle. Accurate and extremely efficient, our machines have what it takes to turn your ideas into reality.

Now that designers are adopting computer methods for modeling and fairing 3-dimensional surfaces, it seems reasonable to use the computer surface model to mill full-size male or female plugs, or even produce complete tooling by CNC machine. The promise is better accuracy, less cost, and faster turn-around time.

One of the important challenges for our Shipyard was building the Z60 out of a mould, which is rather unique for a 60-footer. This is another way to obtain a superior degree of fairness and accuracy in the quality of every yacht we produce. To manufacture the 60-foot moulds we had the hull and deck plugs modelled using 5-axis CNC milling machines.
