With a solid background in automotive construction and a passion for sea and sailing, Ben Van Hool and David Van Nieuwenhove started a shipyard from scratch, and are currently building the first Z60. In fact, what quite fascinated them was the gap between traditional ocean-cruisers and racer-cruisers.

However, one cannot deny yachting in general is still missing the expressive design which distinguishes for instance automotive brands from one another. Following this philosophy, the Zeydon concept was born: a functional and sophisticated no-nonsense design, a highly advanced and innovative technology & pure dedication and passion into every single detail.

Driven by an uncompromising pursuit of perfection, Zeydon Shipyard represents a remarkable collective effort from a team of skilled designers, engineers, naval architects and experienced boat builders.

The people at Zeydon are multi-skilled, capable of carpentry one week, and working on electrics or plumbing the following week. To be able to do one job in this business, you need to have practical experience of many others. Too often at boat yards you will see workmen installing the interior of a yacht without thinking about the influence of their action on other installed parts in the yacht.
